We had booked a private cab for our trip to the airport and Rome Cabs was fabulous! The driver was waiting for us ahead of schedule, he drove safely, was informative -- couldn't have asked for better service (and at a much more reasonable price than our first cab ride).
Our flights were uneventful, albeit a bit late and Frankfurt airport wasn't the zoo we had encountered the first time through (although they had the dirtiest bathrooms of anywhere we'd been!)
Our private chauffeur (my dad) was at the arrivals gait with a big smile, we had a talkative drive home (before the fatigue set in) and he'd even stocked the fridge with some goodies.
Caesar, our mutt, almost wet himself when we came in the door -- he apparently missed us -- and he hasn't been more than 3 feet from my side since, lol.
Today (Canadian Thanksgiving) is about catching up on emails, laundry and outdoor chores (it's autumn here!!) And maybe a little nap is in order...
Thank you so much for following along on our travels -- it added a lot to our experience to know that we were staying connected with you all.
