Hopped a bus from Dublin. Can't say I'll miss it. I was looking forward to getting out into the countryside. Glendalough has an old Monastic Settlement that we spent a few hours milling about. It's a really beautiful place. The weather was nice and it felt great to get some sun.

We decided to get on with the hiking. The trail passed by 2 lakes, past an old mining site, up a pretty steep hill and back down around the other side of the lakes and a waterfall. It was quite a trek. Miles and miles of railraod tie walkways to keep you up off the boggy terrain.

We made it to a B&B and had dinner at the only pub in town. We still haven't found a good fish and chips. Tomorrow we're back on the Wicklow Trail to the town of Roundwood.

Tired as a dog tonight.
