So I go over and take another hour massage. The massage was from a nice girl named Tia(she has a sister named Duy). After that massage I cruise up to the main drag where there are more Circle K's, massage places, restaurants, huge surf shops and big and small nightclubs. Still feeling tired from the trip up from Australia I'm not in the mood to go clubbing so what do I do? Go for hour and half massage this time!So today's total 3.5 hour massage and price of $25 total. Day 7- Kuta beachToday was a day at Kuta beach in Bali. Another world famous surfing beach, one would think I was on a surfing tour huh? Beach looked pretty clean and was some nice yellow sand. Renting a bed and umbrella was about $6, wow just love the cost of living here. Spent most of the time under umbrella alternatively reading my book and watching the surf school students try their luck on the waves. Most made a pretty good go at it, should I try tomorrow? I don't think so Ive tried before and I doubt my balance has magically improved in the last 20 years. After the beach it was time for a nice long nap before dinner. Rousing myself by 9pm I set out in search of a restaurant with some activity. Found one called Frog something and found chicken satay on the menu. One of my all time favorite sauces and I loved the peanuty taste. Now about 11pm I strolled the main drag with stores, massage places and clubs. Some small little bar places and others huge multi floor disco complexes. After cruising the strip I decide to try the multi story huge club SkyGarden because the little girls out front were giving away free drink coupons. You had to trek to the 5th floor to retrieve your drink. It was still early but the place was starting to pack in the young surf crowd. The excessively loud music and overpacked sun drenched tourists and the scarcity of working girls had me leaving after 20 minutes. I walked the streets again and settled on Paddy's. It was a medium sized place with some sitting areas by street away from dance floor if you just wanted to chill and a bevy of WGs called to me as I walked by. I didn't get a good look at them and if I did I might have just kept walking. Inside I settle into a sitting area with a few chairs and table and order a red bull and vodka and some grape hookah. I glanced over to see the WGs lining the counter by the street. Oops I made eye contact with one and she came over. Not exactly ugly and maybe she would have been doable 15 years ago but her freshness date expired sometime during Clinton's presidency. I spot a couple much more attractive girls dancing just off the floor 20 meters ahead. She tried to make small talk with me and I politely answered most of the questions not to be rude but was definitely giving off the leave me alone vibe. She didn't catch the vibe. She then asks me if I want girl and I say yes later and again turn to ignore her and I now am exchanging smiles with a cute much younger little thing in red and white striped skirt. Eventually she leaves and I try for a minute to get the cute little thing to look back my way. I then turn my head and holy shit an even older and uglier lady was asking me if she could sit down. No being nice this time she was lucky she only got a firm "NO" when inside of me I was yelling "fuck no! Are you kidding me? I wouldn't do you if you paid me and paid me a lot"She leaves thankfully and I try again to cute the little cutey in red/white skirt to notice. She doesn't but her friend does. Now they are both smiling and waving at me. I wave them over and they come and sit down. We have Angel an attractive girl in a white little dress showing an enormous amount of cleavage and Sheila the super cutey with the nice ass in red/white skirt. Combine their tops and bottoms and you would get a solid 9. I order a drink for them and we begin to talk.
Day 6- onto BaliI was eagerly waiting for Bali and the reduced expenses the rest of the Asia trip would have until Japan was reached in 3 months. $40 taxi rides and $15 fast food meals were already taking a toll. So I was looking forward to my deluxe room with a/c at my hotel and the lovely beaches of Bali. Hour long massages were only $6, so after a stroll along the beach I decided to get one. I then took a rest until dinner where I ate at the hotel restaurant, apparently popular amongst the elite surfing crowd. A hundred signed photos of pro surfers adorned the walls. After dinner I left the hotel compound and right across small corner was a small Circle K convenience store. Here in Indonesia they are every 200 meters or so. In Thailand it was 7-11s every 200 meters. I stop in to buy a drink as I'm enjoying the night air outside I notice another massage place next door to the Circle K. These places are every 300 meters in Bali. The girls start calling to me "hey mister you want massage?" of course I do.
