Hmmm birthdays just dont have that same umph when your over 30. Day started off great with breakfast with Scott, Lora & Virginia then we took off for Mt. Washington. Another beautiful day and we got to the top just before the rainy weather hit. What a beautiful site, especially with the fall colors. The ride up and down are kind of scary, I cannot believe how narrow the two way road is, with nothing but a STEEP drop off the mountain on one side. I am so glad Rob was driving:) We started the long trip back after this and hauled over to NY. Passing through NH and VT, it was beautiful scenery, even in the rain. Makes little ole St. Clair MI seem so flat and boring. We passed the time with a Steven King book on tape that I cannot wait to finish listening to.
