I am still recovering, and still dizzy, however, Frank decided we should go out and celebrate bringing in the New Year.  He chose The Hilton in Downtown Houston which had a New Year's Eve Package, room, dinner, party and midnight breakfast.  He figured that if I got too dizzy, we could simply go back to our room and be done without driving anywhere.  Our room over looked the park where they had a parade and fireworks next to the George R. Brown Center.

The theme was Studio 55, a reminisce of Studio 54 from the 80's.  Can I just tell you that these folks went all out.  The food was excellent, the decorations were awesome, the bar was open and the entertainment right on.  They had champagne servers who were like Cirque de Soile type folks who were hanging upside down serving champagne.  They had movie star look alike's walking around and hanging out with folks, those types that used to hang out at Studio 54 in the 80's.  Then they had a DJ who looked like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever playing 80's music, plus they had Mirror Ball Girl and then they had a band who was just great!  They were dressed just like in the 80's complete with afro, platform shoes and bell bottom pants.  Boy did it bring back memories!  They also had cage dancers!  Well I managed to have some fun and was glad that Frank made sure we rang in the New Year properly!  He knows that I love to dress up and go out, especially on New Years Eve.

Enjoy the pic's!
