Today was a long day.  We were able to see a lot of the Scottish highlands, which were beautiful.  But it was from the window of a bus.  The people on our tour were...1) late in arriving so that set us behind in the first place, 2) late back to the bus nearly every time we stopped.  So our scheduled stops got shorter and shorter through the day, and we spent MOST of the 12 hour tour on the bus.  If I ever have the fortune to come back here, I will NOT take a one day trip to the highlands, and I will spend more time in them.  They really were beautiful though.

Oh...and we didn't see Nessie, so all that driving for naught.  We saw some of the cute highland cows....they look like pets that I would want.  And we saw a red deer standing on a craggy rock on a hillside, overlooking valley in Glencoe.  Very cool.  All too fast to get pictures though.

Our bus driver, well, let's just say he made us nervous.  He drove and talked at the same time he was looking at a map and pointing things out to us from the roof of the bus.  We ARE back and safe at our hotel, but we aren't quite sure how.  Well, I'm tired, so no pictures tonight, and we are going back to Dublin in the morning, to our last little stop, before we head home Sunday morning.  We are ready.
