The island is popular with surfers. Nusa Lembongan is only 4 km long and no wider than 3 km wide and takes 3-4 hours to walk around. There are motorbikes for hire in Jungutbatu.
The Reefs are enjoyed also by scuba divers and the snorkeling is awesome.
It is a small tropical island which has little noise, few cars, there is absolutely nothing to disturb the peace of this
magical retreat.
Lembongan is a friendly, peaceful island. Life is very relaxing on
Lembongan, there are spectacular views, crystal clear water, the sound
of the surf, gentle breezes, no hawkers and no stress on this island.
Nusa Lembongan has several thousands locals, engaged in seaweed farming activities as well as serving tourist needs. Similarities to the Bukit Peninsula create a quiet environment, ideal for relaxation.
Getting to Lembongan from Sanur with Perama shuttle boat is cheap, only Rp.100,000,- for one way, and takes only 50 minutes or 1 hour to reach Lembongan.
