Today me, Marie, and Sae woke up around 5:00 for a flight from Fukuoka to Tokyo. The next two days we are going to the Tokyo Disney Resort. We arrived at Haneda Airport around 8:40. We then took a limo bus to the Tokyo Disney Resort. We arrived at the resort at 9:30. We then got off at the wrong stop and had to walk 30 minutes to our hotel. We finally arrived at the hotel at 10 or so. We are staying one night at the Sunroute Plaza Hotel and the hotel is located on property. When we finally checked in, we bought our park tickets. We bought a two day park ticket. The first we are going to Tokyo Disneyland, and the second day Tokyo Disney Sea. After leaving our bags at the front office since our room wasn't ready, we headed for Tokyo Disneyland around 11:30.
When I first walked into Tokyo Disneyland, I was shock on how big it was. After walking in, we had our picture taken in front of the Mickey floral. Since it was Tokyo Disneyland 25th anniversary there was 25th anniversary decorations all over the place. We then walked down Main Street toward the park. I then saw Cinderella Castle. It was huge compared to the Sleeping Beauty Castle at the Disneyland in Anaheim. We then took some pictures of the castle and the Walt Disney Statue with Mickey. We then made a right to begin our adventure in Tomorrowland. Our first ride was Star Tours which was pretty fun. We then grabbed some Space Mountain Fastpass. Our next ride was Star Jets which were totally awesome because the ride was really high and you can see everything in the park. After Star Jets, we were able to use our Space Mountain Fastpass and it was totally fun. After Space Mountain, we headed towards Fantasyland. In a shop called, Mad Hatter, I purchased a Mickey Mouse Fantasia Hat. We then rode a couple of rides in Fantasyland including Pinocchio's Daring Journey and Snow White. We then saw a parade called Jubilation in celebration for the 25th anniversary. The parade was amazing with spectacular floats. When the parade was over, we rode Pooh's Hunny Hunt. This ride was my favorite because the ride was trackless and driven by a LPS system and the ride was amazing.
We then saw Snow White and had our picture taken with her. After meeting with Snow White, we rode Splash Mountain. While we were on Splash Mountain, the ride stopped. We were stopped for about 10 minutes and the ride resumed back to normal. When you go down the final drop, they take your picture, and Sae bought the picture in which I look totally scared. After riding Splash Mountain, I bought a 25th anniversary souvenir popcorn bucket with many Disney character and Cinderella Castle and Mount Prometheus. We then rode Peter Pan's Flight, It's A Small World, and the Castle Carrousel. By this time, it was starting to get pretty dark around 5:30. After shopping a little, we sat down to watch the Tokyo Disney Electrical Parade which was amazing because all of the floats, which consisted of many Disney characters, were covered with millions of lights. After the Electrical Parade, we did some last minute shopping and took some last minute photos because Tokyo Disneyland closed at 7:00. When we were done shopping and finished our footlong hot dogs, we hopped abroad on the resort cruiser to our hotel. We arrived at our hotel and grabbed our luggage and went to our room which by this time it was 9:00. I then noticed that there was store near Tokyo Disneyland called Bon Voyage and it was open until 11:00. We then hopped on another bus and went to Bon Voyage. After about an hour or so shopping, we went back to the hotel and went to our room. Our room was awesome because it had a perfect view of the park. Around midnight we called it a night.
P.S. Tokyo Disneyland is totally awesome and highly recommended. The Jubilation parade was also truly amazing. Even though we didn't go on several rides, that means that we will do these next time when I come to Japan. I also loved the 25th anniversary decorations around the park. My favorite rides at Tokyo Disneyland were Space Mountain, Star Jets, Pooh's Hunny Hunt, and Splash Mountain.
