With a decision of the moment we  stayed for another day in Katoomba and walked to the ruin castle. It's not real castle just a bunch of rocks together that some what look like a ruin castle.
The view from up there was amazing, the best that I saw in the Blue Mountain. In my opinion if you going to Katoomba, don't miss this walk. It's not a easy one, but it is an amazing site.
