You can spend your whole life here in Rome and still won't see everything there's to offer.  Rome is a big city and touring around can be difficult.  But even if you're lost in the city, you can turn the corner and see something that's two thousand years old right in your face.  It's truly amazing how much history this city has and how much is still preserved.

I first visited the Coliseum.  It's not in the best of shape, but enough for you to feel what it would've been like couple millennium years ago.  Coliseum defines the glory days of Roman Empire, just like the Coliseum in LA representing the best football in the nation. :)  Coliseum, Pantheon, the Forum, ancient ruins, Vatican City, Sistine Chapel, visiting Rome is like taking European history 101.

I also noticed the massive number of scooters here in Italy.  From my observation, it seems like there are more female riders than the males.  They wear knee high boots with big sunglasses covering more than half of their faces, all speeding down the road if to catch Nordstrom's special sales event.  Whatever the reason is, it's always cool to see something different from back home.

I know I'm not giving the best description of Rome here and I won't even try because I think it's one of those places you just have to see it for yourself.  Spending four nights here, I think I just barely scratched the surface.  After all, this is the city that produced the greatest empire in history.  So enjoy the pictures and hopefully, it'll give you a slight idea of what the city is like.
