Where I stayed
Today was the trek from Grand Falls-Windsor to Port aux Basques. We set out in the standard early morning fog. Some members of our group came across a moose who suddenly appeared seemingly from nowhere at the side of the road. Fortunately, the moose decided he didn't like Harleys and went back into the greenery. Two other beasts were sited but luckily they kept to themselves.
The fog lifted suddenly, it was like a curtain being opened. Beautiful scenery all day, and the weather also co-operated. It is almost five p.m. Newfoundland time and we are on the ferry heading to North Sydney. It has been a great day, and our organizers Jamie and Kelly are doing a a stellar job of keeping this magical mystery tour organized and herding the bikers in the right direction.

Hey People...Sounds like all is going well...GREAT. Wish I was with you, but that waits until Hawkesbury and then the Highway Of Heroes. Make sure that Bertha behaves...Cheers, Bill
It was great to have you here last night and to see you for breakfast at Micky D's this morning. By the way.. just wondering.. how far did they go before they realized????.. just how beautiful the "new" scenery was this morning?
Watch for me along Highway 7 near Lake Charlotte/Head of Jeddore area. I'll be waving as you go by. Wish I could be riding with you today....it looks like a dandy day for cruisin' through Nova Scotia. All the best and thanks for your support.
