Well, we rolled into Prague this morning on a night train from Munich's Hauptbahnhof. The weather, as ever, is dazzlingly nice. I thought that we'd have to do a long trek from Holešovice station - the neglected Communist-era rail hub in the north - but our train actually continued all the way to the main central station. I guess the information on the tickets and timetables was lacking. So, that made for a much easier hop to our lodgings: the Clown and Bard Hostel in Žižkov. It's nice to get little surprises like that.

The train trip was not spectacularly restful, what with the frequent stops and snoring neighbors. Mayu says she barely slept a wink. I got a bit more, but certainly not the best sleep I've had in my life. It looks like we've lucked out in other ways though: we've got a private bath and toilet in our room at the hostel, despite my being almost positive I booked a shared one. We're only paying the shared price too, so there's another bonus!

It's a beautiful day out there now, so I should sign off here and take advantage of it. More later. . .
