My friend Christina helped me to become a Certified Antarctic Tour Guide shortly after I arrived on the ICE.  However, it took me a few months before I had the opportunity to put it to use.  I picked up the key one afternoon and took Christina and Bryan out for a tour.  They had both of course been in to see it years ago, but it was fun to pretend that it was all new to them.  We also picked up a few other Hut Point visitors to give a tour too... Bryan's boss Dan.

Anyway, there was a bunch of dead animals around this hut still, including a seal outside and also inside a bunch of unknown meat hanging.  This was more of a storage hut, and only used as shelter in an emergency.  It was pre-manufactured in Australia and built in the same design as buildings in the outback.  Not a very good design for Antarctica because they are designed to keep the indoors cool... oops.  Oh well, it made for great storage.

Check out the pictures... they really tell the story.
