We have arrived at the end of our European tour. How quickly four weeks disappears. How have you spent the last four weeks?

A month of travelling trying to stick to a budget has not always been easy. Many an hour was spent walking round Italy, watching people eat fine food in pavement cafes and restaurants, only for us to go into the nearest supermarket for some bread and cheese(and some 30p cartons of wine).

So, a few days in Prague has come as a bit of a relief as money seems to last forever here.

We are staying quite a way out of the center in a residential district. On our first day here we arrived late and tired so we decided to try a local restaurant. It was in the cellar of a house two doors down. The place was completely empty. The owner was a bit surprised to have a customer, and had to run round turning on the lights and music.

Most of Europe(and the world probably) are very meat based in their meals. This has made finding interesting and varied food difficult, and trying local delicacies impossible. The only ones we have eaten so far are Burek in Croatia(A cheese filled pastry) and Pizza in Italy. We had a slice of pizza each in Rome and a Coke each and got charged 12. Were we ripped off? It was really good pizza.

Anyway, back to the restaurant in Prague where we managed to get 4 beers(0.5ltr), two plates of chips(the first we`ve had in 4 weeks) and two speciality Balkan salads for less than 5.

I like Prague.
