it's been quite the intense day so far but naomi and i are in atlanta waiting to board our flight home in a few hours....my word........so we left la isla de margarita this morning at 645 am...cutting it pretty close for our international flight but we arrive there just over an hour before it was taking off....so there we are at the baggage check and the man asks us if we planned to board today...."uh, yes please?"
"well your itinerary says you are leaving tomorrow morning, not today.."
oh my word, we both had a small heart attack.....so yes there we are two broke students, i mean literally broke....and far from the city and anything....and our lovely travel agency has messed up our agenda...wow.........
anyways, i knew that my visa was already over the limit, so we casually strolled over to the cancellation and reservation counter....both of us said a prayer and then the lady proceeded to swipe my 1000 dollar limit visa card......honestly i have NO idea how it worked but they both went through....300 american dollars....i still can't believe it...i'm actually standing in this airport waiting for someone to throw me down and strand me on this airport forever until i can reALLY pay to leave....so thank you lord....anyhow, he we are....all the info is here ready for the travel agency...yeah just kinda scary....but as we realize, it happens every single dayt and yeah, the calmer you are in those kinds of situations...the better the outcome will be....?
ah! so home in a fwe hours....my parents will be there and ny sister, wahoo! and the
we're spending tomorrow together....wahoo again i'm really pumped....so this week is going to be nuts to to all of our commitments reading this...pleaes do not expect us to be around that much this week.....gracias....
overall this trip has been absolutely incredible...soi many stories.....so many awesome stories...lots learned....lots of new spanish palabras.....si en todo, cheverez....the venezuelan lingo for cool...\
