The sole purpose of our trip to Rosario was to sample the nightlife which we had heard so much about. Well, it did not disappoint. There was no sight seeing, no treks, no pictures, just out to sample the now famous nightlife.

One funny story....

On Saturday night we headed to Madame´s nightclub, the largest and most popular in the city, in fact the largest in South America. Complete with swimming pool, cool chill out areas, cheap drinks, 5 different dj´s and thousands of people, it was incredible. When the club was closing around 6am Batty decided to strip to his jocks and go for a dip in the pool. The bouncers were not impressed and immediately called the cops who told us Brian could end up with a 30 day sentence for such a outlandish crime!! Brian was not at all worried.. "Sure a night in the slammer, how bad". Luckily, a sound local came to our rescue and Brian got saved from a stint in the slammer.

Rosario is also the home of world famous footballer Lionel Messi, it also is the home of current Liverpool player Maxi Rodriguez and the legendary Argentine Marxist revolutionary Che Guevara

Next stop is Punto del Este for some more beach time.
