After a day in transit (5 flights!) we arrived in Patagonia at the southern tip of South America. Despite the cold, grey clouds and rain Punto Arenas felt really welcoming and we enjoyed a night in a house (first one in 2 months and with heating too!) owned by a generous young couple. Our stay was brief though as we headed 4hrs north to Puerto Natales, stepping stone to Torres del Paine National Park.
