Where I stayed
After waking up we took a nice warm shower and packed our stuff to drive off to the Furnance Creek Ranch in the Death Valley.
This is about a 5 - 6 hour drive and brings you from one of the greenest parts of the USA to the most greyest and deathest parts.
It's a amazing drive
The whole drive from the last of couple of days was just amazing. So many different landscapes to admire. I would highly recommend to do this once!
For lunch we stopped at the Country Kitchen in Big Pine. Not a big corporate chain, but just a nice local kitchen with good food. In the US it's really tempting to visit any of the big chains such as Denny's, but for the better food you just go to one of the local kitchens.
Now we will relax a bit more at this nice ranch and energize ourselves for the next two days. Las Vegas! be prepared, we are coming!
Greetings from today's guest blogger: Bjorn.
