What a glorious day! We couldn't have spent a better day to cool off from the harsh temperatures of Phoenix. Thank goodness for Michelle who told us about this part of Sedona hidden from most of the tourists. We wanted to go to slide rock but because it was 4th of July weekend, it would just have been too crowded.
It was great to meet up with Michelle and her two boys and beautiful dog. The last time I saw Michelle was in 7th grade at Stanley Junior High! She looked just as beautiful as I remembered her to be. We spent the afternoon lounging and catching up with each others lives.
The boys were busy exploring and sliding down the rocks. It was one of those perfect days that makes you smile when you think about it. The landscape and scenery in Sedona is so breathtaking. The red rock formations is mother nature at its best.
