NZ has got to be the easiest country I have ever traveled in. I have not met one rude person, everyone is to helpful and friendly. The Visitors Centres are the best. They really understand what tourism does for each of them. Even our bus driver thanked us for visiting their country. Everything is well organized and easy to find. I hope we don’t get too spoiled by the time we get to Asia!
The landscape has been stunning! I have never seen such green grass and pretty flowers, its almost like its painted! We have definitely seen enough cows and sheep to last us for awhile. The bus rides have been ok, not exactly how I wanted to travel but its convenient. For such a small country, it certainly takes a lot longer than I thought to get from one place to another. I found out that they don’t build roads over the mountains, they build around them!
I would recommend to anyone new to traveling to come to NZ. They have a little bit of everything and sure to please the thrill seekers. Everyone speaks English and will stop to help you. But two weeks is certainly not enough! But if we would have stayed longer, it would have eaten away our money and we would have to return home early!
NIKOLAS VERSION
When we got to Rotorua, we found there were these go carts called Luges with 3 wheels that go fast down the hill. It may not sound like fun, but we had a blast! I went down 8 times, and that is a lot. At night, we went to this weird show about the Maori people.
