Spent the morning checking our trip up Mt Kinnabula the next day was all going ahead as planned and getting our bearings in KK. Late morning we headed down to the jetty and caught a speedboat over to one of the local islands that had been recommended to us - Mantika.  We arrived at midday and spent the next 4 hours snorkelling, sunbathing and sheltering from the downpour.  Was a really chilled island.  We also saw giant iguanas wandering around.

After returning from the island at around 5pm we headed out for some pasta to give us some energy for the next  day.  After that we wandered around the night markets which are always interesting; particularly the BBQ crabs and massive prawns (just a shame we were too full).

Back to the hotel for an early night before tomorrow's big climb!!!
