Two days ago I received my British Passport in the mail, two weeks after I sent the application away!  It was processed so quickly I couldn't believe it.  I even orded a T-shirt online the next day and it took longer to come! 

Yesterday I went to the travel agent and booked my ticket.  $1545 inclusive of all taxes and charges one-way from Brisbane - Heathrow.  Pretty expensive I know, but it is with Singapore airlines, and the date to fly is getting closer and closer so I didn't expect to really find anything much cheaper.  The flight leaves at 11.45pm here and arrives in london at 3pm local time so it works out best from both ends as my parents can still drive my down to the airport after work and the boys in England dont have to be up at 3am to get me from Heathrow.

Now I just have to save lots of money and pack my bags!
