Managed to secure a free ride from a doctor who piled the whole family in the minivan and drove me across spain. He wouldn't accept any money from the ride. I was in a pinch too and was more than thankfull. Gibralta is unique in that everybody driving or walking in, goes right across the middle of the runway. Just have to wait when planes are landing or taking off.
