Pandelli is on the other side of the island from our embarkation point on Leros. After landing beers, traditional G&Ts on the boat for happy hour, knocking down wine at dinner, and cocktails at the Rock Bar, we moved to the infamous Savana bar for our introduction to Flaming Lamborghinis. This is five shots in about 10 seconds. In a martini glass you've got a shot of Kahlua, Galiano, and a floater of Sambuca. On the bar next to the martini glass is a shot of Bailey's and a shot of blue curacao. With a straw in the bottom of the martini glass, the Sambuca floater is lit on fire, and you suck the flaming drink through the straw- real fast!- so the straw doesn't melt. Just as your at the bottom and about to flame out anyway, the bartender quenches the fire with the cool blue mixture of the two auxiliary shot glasses. Of course it's a race, and our experienced skipper Rob trounced us all. The women all tried to do it together with three straws in one glass, and never even got to the cool blue finish. Embarrassing.
