Where I stayed
I don't know what the Chilean Government have against Canadians, Australians, Mexicans, Americans and Albanians, but they have to pay $95 per person to come over the border.
Sort of wish I'd had the forethought to use my British passport.
Lines are a necessary evil in modern international transport. Still don't have to like them though.
We were picked up by Leonardo from Santiago airport. Friendly and calm. Just the combination you need after not sleeping all the way from Sydney.
Santiago is in a valley, the mountains to the East are gargantuan snow topped beasts, currently topped by snow in the way that Homer Simpson is topped by hair.
