Waking up on the first morning after 24 hours travel has always the same thoughts, where am I? Why is it dark? I don't want to wake up. I´m too tired. I check on my partner, Why is she still sleeping so soundly? Gradually life returns to my brain and I start to get excited at the prospect of a new city and a new country.
Buenos Aries turns out to be a throbbing travelers place, full of bustling busy people, loads to see and do, exploring the underground system and buses, finding the places of interest and walking in the parks. Only few people speak English and that always seems to create a friendly bond as you each search for words of communication when seeking directions or even places to eat. The latter often leading to new experiences for your taste buds.
After four days in the city I am once again very tired, both end of me want to rest, my feet are aching and my head is in a whirl. It's time to move onto a slower pace of life so the coastal town of Mar del Plata calls, after all it looks good on the map!
Review of BA, Hostel good, transport in city easy and cheap, Food varied easy and cheap. In all a good introduction to South America.... Go for it.

London
Come on, there isn't anywhere better than the grand old city of london - you know you want to be back there.
I'm even hacking a website together to extol its hidden virtues - www.citykid.com
Who was it who said 'when you're bored of london, you're bored of life'...
