Where I stayed
We have arrived!!!
For anyone that is wondering, we started at Oslo Gardermoen (Norway) and flew to London Heathrow (The UK) where we had a wait of about 3 hours, so a good point to have brunch :P
After that it was onwards to Los Angeles LAX (The USA) and after only about 90 minutes on the ground (just enough time to send us all though immigration and out again (silly Americans)) we flew to Auckland in New Zealand.
Our first day in New Zealand (since we arrived on monday at about 8am local time) was also known as 'The recovery day' :) After having spent the last 40 hours awake and in transit (we can't sleep very well on airplanes it seems) the day looked like this:
Arrive at hotel - 9am
Head out for some breakfast - 9am-11am
Sleep - 11am-6pm
Head out for some dinner - 6pm-8pm
See Billy Connolly live at The Vector Arena in Auckland - 8pm-10pm
Sleep - 10pm-9am
Our apologies for this rather dry recap of our first day, but now the holiday TRULY starts :D
P.S. One bag was lost in transit and we are still waiting to hear back from the airport/airline if they have found it.
Luckily it wasn't a bag with clothing this time, however we now don't have our nice handy tripod with us for taking pictures...
P.P.S. Despite what it might look like, we HAVE been keeping up-to-date with blog-entries so far. But uploading them requires an internet connection, which is something we don't have every day. This means it might take a few days between each time you see an update here, but then you will have multiple in one go :D

Jullie lukt het iedere keer weer om maar met de helft van de bagage aan te komen. Maar het zal wel weer goed komen leuk om weer iets te horen.
