SEASON'S GREETINGS
There are approximately three thousand registered foreign residents living in Chengdu, and the festive spirit is quite apparent. Chengdu International Women's Club held a Christmas Bazaar at QSI International School on 9th December 2006.
The club plans to bring the western Christmas tradition to Chengdu every December. This was the first year the club held this event. Activities included children's games, local crafts, as well as a market to buy books, clothes, toys, decorations, Christmas cookies and cakes. Singing groups and musicians from around the world performed, and of course Santa Claus visited.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
This year, all of the proceeds went to Minyak Dzogchen School in Sichuan's Ganzi Prefecture,to help poor children attend school.
Cheers WOCCA
