So it has been a while since I have posted WMD's whereabouts.  After sailing from Fiji through Vanuatu, then across the Coral Sea to Australia, I left WMD in Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast, just north of Brisbane.  Annie and I flew back and Greg stayed in Australia.  He bought a Ford Falcon for AUD$500 and drove it down through Sydney to Tasmania, then across to Melbourne and up the middle to Darwin then around to Broome and down the coast to Perth.  I think he was selling the car for $1900.  What a wheeler & dealer!  His visa ran out, so he flew to Japan a few weeks ago.  Crazy ninja.  No telling where he will show up next.

I got back to Mooloolaba on 22 April.  I was happy to see all my friends again and got to do some fun sailing races on Steveo's Roger Ramjet.  WMD was in pretty good shape and the sails had been souped up by the saucy sailmaker, Yancy.  Candice arrived to help me sail the boat up north, after a cruise through the Great Sandy Straight and Fraser Island, acting as Mother Ship for the Bay to Bay sailing race.

We stayed a few days in Kingfisher Bay on Fraser island, having a run-in with a pair of dingoes, and hiking 11km each way to a beautiful lake on this huge sand island.

The trip north from there was nothing but fast.  We weren't able to visit Lady Musgrave because the 25 knot winds were pushing us north too quickly and we would have no shelter inside the bommy-filled lagoon.  Plus, it was cold and rainy.  Basically repeat that up to the Whitsundays.

We arrived about a week ago to Hamilton Island.  Although the weather is sometimes good, sometimes a little unseasonably cold, we have made tons of friends and are getting the royal treatment here.  We have been invited on a power boat to dive the outer Great Barrier Reef on Friday and also do a helicopter tour of the area on Saturday.

Then, I have finally decided that I will indeed to the Darwin to Indonesia rally that starts on 18 July.  Unfortunately, Darwin is 1400 miles from here.  Fortunately, the saucy sailmaker, Yancy, is willing to help me get it there as quickly as possibly.  So we will leave on Sunday with only one stop- on Lizard Island, where we will hopefully get to do some diving.

So I get back to the USA on 09 June, where I will be working nonstop until I leave to go back and take WMD to Indonesia.  At the business, we have introduced some new products (White Collar Grime to protect dress-shirt collars and Pocksie to be a temporary sticky pocket for your clothes without pockets http://www.garmentguard.com) and I am doing estate planning legal work, as is my law firm partner Kelly Zinser, who is also doing personal bankruptcy (http://www.olenicoffzinser.com).

Cheers & let me know if you want to meet me in Indonesia!
