Yesterday the other students showed me around town for not one, not two, not three hours, but TEN hours! They are like angels from heaven. Angie has been very patient with me and continues to bear with my Spanish. We're going to leave to catch the subway (called "Subte" here) in a few minutes to grab lunch and shop around.
We all cooked dinner together in the kitchen last night and then cleaned up and went out for ice cream. I was happy to finally conk out after a LONG day. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the city today though.
Will post again later - I'm only able to make posts from the kitchen right now because the Wi-Fi signal isn't strong enough to check email, etc in my room.
