The drive from Boa Loc went from a pretty dusty and busy highway to a quiet coastal route. I stopped off and had this amazing prawns in sweet tamarind sauce and walked the beach and got some great photo's of the surf!! I then continued on but stopped to try fix my headlight because i was gonna arrive at my next stop in the dark but when i stopped there was a miscommunication and he could only fix the other 9 million things i still needed repairing so i had those done and made an attempt to get to Vung Tao but came up 50km short and stayed in a small village but this gave me chance to leave early next day and arrive at Vung Tao but only to find it heaving with people because this is the closest holiday destination to the capital, Saigon, about 3 or 4 hours drive away and so it was crammed with Vietnamese since it was new year so i had a little drive around, took a few photo's and decided i was really looking forward to my planned break in Saigon and that i should make the arduous highway journey in to Saigon and get off this motorbike for a while!!

The trip up was pretty full on but when entering Saigon i found it OK as last time i was here i'd hired a bike out to experience the roads and so found it OK, so i made it around t-time, stopped at the first hotel i came to, grabbed a well deserved beer and flaked out...!!

My final blog update is for my 2 week stay here in Sagion where i have done a couple of trips out to the Mekong so i'll update this stay too before i leave in about 5 days time.
