Tony just rang, finally! After 5 days.I know that doesn't seem long ,but I know better than most that a lot can happen in 1day at sea!
They've just arrived at Puerto Escondido (the Hidden Port),which was another stop on the Steinbeck trip (Log from the Sea of Cortez).
The crew of 'Windstrutter' has evolved and now the boys are 3 ,Charlie,Josh and Fred (the Frenchman),plus Tara (borrowed from Bright Star). Fred met the boys windsurfing and brought him along.
Tony said they all had a wake up call at anchor in Caleta Partida, when struck by a 40knot squall in the middle of the night. The boat dragged across the bay and thanks to the alertness of Captain Tony, all was well quite quickly.
Tony was eating an ice cream, from the palapa café there and letting it slip that it was 90 degrees.
I've attached some photos of the area and wishing I was there, you too,I bet!
