Amazing fishing village in Ascuncion.Here making our way down the baja peninsula,with a great bunch of people,on shore and sea.We cook together and sail together and have picked up people on the way.We left Bahia Tortugas and sailed 50nm here and it blew and it blew.We wished for that wind and it wouldn't stop when it got going.We saw whales everywhere.We struggled to get our heavy sails down and were grateful for all the hospitality from our new friends here and we have guests onboard from Bahia Tortugas.Russ and Isabel run the 'tackle shop' and said they'd miss us,so we invited them along.We had a prty when we arrived and as usual everyone brings something.Today we went by open truck to a friend of Isabel's (Shari) who took us (about 15 of us!) to her wonderful stone house on the rocks,overlooking the Pacific.There we cooked,ate,drank,laughed,listened to guitar,wathced a blowhole and talked of whales.We are off tomorrow to Abreojos (trans:watch out) to whale watch closer,as the mum's and calves,play,mate and learn.We will touch and scratch them and they apparently love a hug.

Pingo is still there but going to pick up his visa today......
