Decided to invite everyone we know here for the 'Parade of Lights' tonight as all the boats lit up will pass our anchorage.
Seems to be quite a flotilla preparing to go to Baja now,most going after xmas.it looks that way for us as we need more equipment and the GPS card is not working!Buying charts today.I did the passage plan using the excellent Mexico pilot/guide book.
Still 56degrees here,but sunny.Windy and wet weather for the next couple of days forecast.
can't wait to get to the Tropic of Cancer,which is about half way down the Baja (approx. 400nm).
The whales started appearing last month,but some have sighted them up until May!
Lovely seeing the seals and grebes in the bay here.
Very impressed with the regulations here,such as: no emptying of tanks (fine is thousands!) and NOTHING can be thrown into the bay.
Everyone in chandleries' here (at least half a dozen, or so) are so friendly that we've invited some of them to our soiree this evening.
I'm getting impatient to go ,but we're not ready until we're ready.
