A couple of days back when we had anchored in a small ocean side town cove we came across a friend, Alec! Now for those of you who haven’t heard of Alec, he’s another Aussie that we met at Marina Kastela! We left him there a few months back to go to Venice and he left a couple of weeks later to go down the coast like we did (or something like that), and we met up with him in this ocean side town cove! What a coinkidink! He had another few Aussies with him as well and we invited him over for a beer, and caught up with him (we didn’t meet his wife though).
(Sigh), I can’t wait till the holidays. My school works creeping up and I need to scan in heaps of stuff and do lots of stuff! But then again, I can’t wait till Malta because I’ve got a friend (girl) there who is very smart and goes to the same distant ed as me (another coinkidink! Cool!).
We also met up with Theo a few days ago (a German that we befriended at Kastela), this wasn’t a coincidence though, he emailed us to say that he had some work for us boys that he picked up at Kastela while we were gone. So we meet up with him he hands over the package while he and dad had a few beers and introductions to his family, he’s a nice guy and speaks very good English.
While we were at the mariner that we are at now, we have met a few more people. A few of which who are girls our age and are from California, yeah its pretty cool but I think they left the day after we spoke to them. Another few people are these English guys who were trying to tie a bow line (its a knot) while mum fell in the water. It was pretty funny, and they were very nice.
Grandma and grandpa left today, I got my room back, but I was sad to see them go, they made cool jokes and did lots of the dishes.Anyways, sorry (again) that you’ve been Joshless for a week and a few, will be on facebook, will check my email and will keep in touch with all you guys as best as i can!
