Tired from the travelling, I decided to chill out today. I was actually lost for 2 hours trying to find the Mangyan Heritage Centre. Every locals seemed to have their idea of its location. After a fruitless search, I went straight to the Pulis station and asked a constable. A policeman got to know his city, right? Nope, don't know where it is! Nonetheless he offered to escort me while he tried to find out exactly where. The first venue turned out to be a Mangyan Information Centre. We were then redirected to the right place.

Mangyan Heritage Centre turned out to be not quite what I was expecting. In essential, it is a private research office on Mangyan culture but they open their doors to the public. Some photos and articles on the white board that was all. The courtyard however was shady and cool, and I sat there on the corridor bench savouring the breezy winds. Early dinner at Mang Inasal at Robinsons Mall before an early evening movie The Hobbit which I have say was spectacular, only to be marred by the noise of construction works in the middle of the film for 30 minutes!
