Crepes and Wifi
Lying horizontally for sleeping is nice. Woke up passed lunchtime and wandered around Nyaungshwe township under the blistering sun. Not much of a sightseeing town but I visited a handful of pagodas and temples. Really just a gateway to Inle Lake. It was supposed to be cooler up in this region but today it was not. A lonely cafe near the river sells delicious pancakes and crepes (Inle Pancake Kingdom). The next door internet shop has free wifi to anyone who loiters around. Just so awesome. A strawbery & banana crepe and free wifi, up in the mountains of central Myanmar.
Min Min's Restaurant
Dinner of Inle fish with eggplants was satisfying. This was at Min Min's restaurant with Min Min himself serving the dish. I overheard Min Min describing his services as a day trek guide for 10,000 kyats a person. After chatting to Min for a bit, I took up his day trek with his group for tomorrow's itinerary. Time to recharge for an early start.
