We left Budapest and headed for salzburg. on the train we did some thinking, salzburg doesnt have any snow so how are we going to go skiing so we changed our plans once again. when we arived in salzburg we spent about 3 hours checking the place out, it was awesome snoping around castles and back ally ways. but this didnt last to long and we were off to a place called Bad Gastein bout an hour and a half away up in the hills.

Bad Gastein is an insanely cool ski village kinda like oakune but 5 times better. our accomadation was 150 metres from the ski lifts hot pools next door and heeeeepz of snow!
we woke up and headed up stairs for our buffet beaky this had to do us all day so we put away quite a feed. from there we rounded some ski gear and headed for the hills. At the top it was white out conditions but cleared as you decended the Mt this was all good we didnt mind 1 bit because it was snowing which ment fresh powder all day. our firist run lasted about 1 and a half hours, we were just taking it easy, the next few runs were faster but still about a good half hour. we went hard all day no lunch to get the most out of our hard earnd pingers.

We got home wasted! had deviled schnitzel for tea with room mate 'shagger' then we all headed of to the local hot pools. now these pools were totaly european, some areas required strickly no togs. who woulda thought you would catch us standing starkers in the snow, hot colds realy did our muscles wonders.

day two saw us head back to salzburg to finish what we had started earlier. uummmm didnt do a whole lot but did cook a mean feed of veg coz we thought we hadnt been healthy 4 a while. night fell and it was time to hit up these much talked about beer halls. we arrived as rookies not realy sure what to do, so we grabed a mug, trotted over to the barrel and hooked our selves up with a litre of salzburgs finest. as the night drew to a close we left as masters.

woke up early this morning and jumped on a train to munchen germany here we come.

over and out
