A short hop on the bus along the South coast brings us to the aptly named Palm Paradise Cabanas, Tangalla.  We had these ear marked for ages after reading good reviews on 'Trip advisor' and were certainly not disappointed.

We were quickly installed into Cabana number 12 - with sand and sea views through the palms from it's veranda.  Great extra touches in the cabana included mozzie coils, beach mats, drying rack and your own private sun loungers.  Everything in fact to make a few lazy days on the beach that little bit more relaxing.

The beach itself is a small and sweet sickle of creamy sand, backed by palms, with a beautiful frothy sea.  Plans to spend an afternoon visiting a couple of local temples pretty quickly get shelved in favour of splashing around and catching up on our reading.  We are also happy to take advantage of the decent book exchange scheme - more on offer than the usual Dan Brown!

Just in case we weren't chilled out enough by the second day, we go for a massage in the afternoon.  It is very pleasant - but having been spoilt in Varkala we are disappointed to have only one masseuse each.  Shocking.
