We landed at Narita at 6 in the morning or so and quickly made ourselves first in line at the Delta counter which opened at 10am. The Thai Delta office had apparently taken some concern in our plight and upgraded our seats from sitting in middle seats in separate rows from one another to Business Class seats next to each other with a window. Nice but they were still flying us to Atlanta before flying back to Seattle.

We had no yen on us nor felt like making a withdrawal so to find a credit card accepting restaurant we left the international departure wing of Narita, got a nice transit Visa stamped in our passports, and ate some Japanese teriyaki and don-buri with clam chowder of all things as well as some Asahi Super-Dryu. Pretty nice. A few hours later we were fed bountifully by the airline too. We discovered that in first class, the entrees are no different than coach class food, but the other courses, desserts, and wine selection is quite nice. The legroom helped too I suppose!

This about ends our trip's tale though--there are no more pictures to share and the camera is packed away in stored luggage. The rest is just flying around the U.S. some and downloading all of our good photos. We took 590 in all and over 250 at the Angkor temples so hopefully we'll drop some good ones in here over the next week. See you all in DC or Seattle soon.
Love,
Jim and Shannon
