It was a big last night in Aachen, but I somehow managed to drag myself out of bed and out to the airport at Cologne. Unfortunately upon arrival my morals went out the window, and Hungry jacks it was for breakfast. I filled in my time chatting to a French girl who needed somewhere to chill out and have a smoke, and watching the random people passing by. The flight to London was short, and I sat there staring either out the window, or at the passport belonging to the dude from Bahrain sitting next to me. Had he spent his entire life passing through customs and getting the damn thing stamped?!

My patience was tested upon touchdown in London, with the long queue at customs, and then the broken luggage carousel. But walking out of the airport it was great to see my friend Em (albeit with RED HAIR!) who I hadn't seen in 8 months. The day was spent chilling out at Em's house in Battersea, but she wasn't going to let me sleep off the previous night - before long we were at her partner Pete's pub for dinner, and later on at FABRIC to catch a set by Sasha. Now House ain't my thing, but I must say I was blown away by everything at Fabric. The size of the place, the AMAZING sound system and the loose dudes on the dance floor. It was an experience, but I preferred the crew at Mobius back home :-)

Sunday brought about some much needed sleep, and a totally random meeting with my old school friends Jules, Nick and Luke at an Irish pub in Ealing. Monday was spent site seeing around the city, taking in the London eye, the British History Museum and Buckingham Palace.
