I am not able to get a bus to Florianopolis until Monday so I explore Pirianapolis. Less than an hour away, it has a completely different feel. Much smaller and more laid back. My hotel, Hotel Centro, is as nice but one fourth the cost. Restaurants are solid but not at the International levels of Punto del Este. The beach is nice. It is really a chill kind of place.
