Only an hour's flight from Kerala, and we arrive in Sri Lanka in the late afternoon.  The short drive from the airport to the hotel proves that Sri Lanka is a world away from even Kerala, let alone India: its instantly evident that there are less people here, that they obey rules, the women are dressed more casually, the roads more civilised, life just looks a lot more normal after 8 weeks in India.

The 2 older boys stayed up late to have dinner with us, and loved the range of board games the hotel had to offer.  Being owned by an English couple it was well stocked with the likes of Jenga, Connect 4, Draughts, etc etc.

Off to Kandy tomorrow and our last 2 weeks of adventure before heading home to reality....
