Brad, being Brad, still had a programme though! He couldn't wait to rush back to the office to catch up with things, which he did the day after we landed.
Then onto West Sussex for some kite-surfing with Rupert and Jim at Rupert's beach house in Pagham. Less kite-surfing than hoped and possibly a bit more child-care duty than expected! (Ru and Helen's 2 children: 2 year old Evie and 4 month old Jake were also down there and Helen had some serious training and racing to do....) But it sounded like he had fun catching up with the boys, and at least he had 2 nights away from our children, who got up at 3am both days due to jet lag.
Meanwhile we had a wonderful day at Bryn and Rebecca's and the boys loved playing with their cousins William and Edward. Brad took all the boys down to see Granna and Gramps in Reigate while I had shoppoing day in London with mum and later in the week we saw Bene, Livia and Seb who came up to Little Milton. It was so great to see the amazing transformation in Seb following his ear and throat operation, and always lovely to see my goddaughter Livia.
Our first week back was spent at mum's house in Little Milton, catching up with family and friends. The children were so happy to do ordinary things like play with different toys, bake cakes with mum, colour, and generally hang out with no schedule or programme to adhere to.
