Oh dear, things got bad.  Yet more rain, and a couple of stupid arguments between Brad and I sent us spiralling downwards, and much of the 5 hour journey from Lakes Entrance to the Mornington Peninsula was spent either arguing or in silence....I almost bailed out and checked myself into the Four Seasons in Melbourne.

Heading towards the Red Hill pizza place Brad spotted that we had stumbled across the Red Hill agricultural show....the local version of Moreton show.  It was a brilliant afternoon for the kids, who loved going on the bouncy castles, watching the animal parade etc etc. For me it was just painful and I found myself wishing that Daylesford Organic was round the corner for a decent coffee and a revitalising massage.....

No such luck, so onto Portsea......which was amazing, a fabulous alternative to Daylesford.  Little did we know when we decided to stay in Patrick's house, that Portsea is the destination of choice for all wealthy Melbourners, and is home to the most expensive real estate in the whole of Australia.  The town centres of Portsea and neighbouring Sorrento are really pretty, oozing charm, with some lovely upmarket shops and the coastline really beautiful.   Tomorrow will definately be brighter.....

Oh, forgot to say that I managed to knock the spare wheel off the bottom of the campervan when out seeking milk and bread.  Did not help the bad mood.....

(But I swore that it was Brad's fault after lugging the van over every off road track going yesterday in search of The Perfect Picnic Spot)....
