Jamie, Zach and I left Katherine with a rapidly improving mother and poor little Benjamin back in the UK and headed to Telluride, South West Colorado to pick up the schedule.

The trip was pretty gruelling, leaving Little Milton at 9.30am, for a 10 hour flight to Denver, then a 3 1/2 hour wait at the airport before another 1 hour flight to Montrose before a final 2 hour transfer up the mountain to Telluride, arriving at about 10pm local time or 5am in the UK. 20 hours of travelling. The boys were great and made the journey feel almost easy and certainly well worth it to be back on track - at least the 3 of us - and meeting up with Glenn as per the original plan.

We will hopefully meet up with Katherine and Benjamin on Thursday the 20th in the afternoon in LA.

We all got up very early due to the jet lag and the boys could not wait to wake Glenn up but left him to about 5.45am!

We had a great long mornings skiing with the boys, the light was a bit flat so the photos are nothing special but the boys skied very well and Glenn and I really enjoyed skiing all over the mountain and through the trees with them.

We followed with a superb lunch in a bar outside at the base of the mountain and headed down to the airport in Telluride to hire a huge American 4x4 to drive to the hot springs in Ouray, somewhere I had been with Glenn on my first gap year 20 years ago.

The scenery was spectacular but lack of anything other than an IPhone for photos meant we are a bit short on the majesty of the views. As Zach said - a really massive day.

We are all really missing Katherine and Benji, its not the same without them, and hugely looking forward to meeting them in LA.
