After Saturday's organisational boo, Sunday had to be a marathon if we were going to see most of what Cape Town had to offer. So it was up at sparrow's in an attempt to get to Cape Point by opening time/sunrise. We almost made it - its a very long way over some quiet, but difficult roads - so there was still some rays of sunrise to be seen.

The hike out to Cape Point is short, steep and breezy (i.e. in worse weather you'd need an anchor) but the views are spectacular. Best of all, there was no one else there - no hawkers, no crowds, no buses, no hordes following the flag...

Having done the mandatory inspection of the point where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet (there's nothing there), it was out on the next stop - only to spot a troop (?) of baboons near the park entrance. They were all pretty cute until one of the babies decided the car made a good trampoline. Then it was time to leave, just as the first bus full of barbarians pulled in...
