Again, rain overnight and a broken but heavy sky. Took a taxi to Dickenson Beach which was very quiet when we arrived. A beautiful beach and lovely water. We both spent a fair amount of time swimming. Very hot most of the time (low 80s) and a short shower.

Later in the afternoon, Eileen went shopping whilst I took the opportunity of free wifi to update the blog and check e-mails. When Eileen rejoined me we were delighted to be able to talk to Eleanor and Oliver (and Chris) through Skype – wonderful technology.

Cocktails with the Captain: something of an anticlimax but a couple of watery drinks and nibbles and a photo with the Captain.

Another good meal followed by Bernie Flint (former Opportunity Knocks winner) at the cabaret.
