Leaving Moore this morning we called in at the local cafe and had coffee. We are of the belief that if the town gives free camping you should buy something or other in town. Great coffee too.
The plan today was to head as far out west as we could, so off to St George.
Stopped for lunch at Lake Broadwater National Park, south of Dalby. Will remember this spot for camping as it was beautiful.
The road out west was amazingly good, however you could see where the damage of floods had occurred. The Government seems to have gone all out on repairs.
At 4pm we arrived at our camp spot on the banks of the Balonne River. There were several other campers so it was a good spot. Noisy though, as Mr Generator Person was in the campsite 100 metres away with the biggest generator in the universe, if not the loudest! We sat around for a couple of hours reading and then settled for the night.
