Boy....so little to do in Lennoxville that I have been updating my entries whilst in Montreal! Thats why I've been a bit behind. So.. we are in Ottawa, watching the Red Sox at Fenway Park on Wednesday night and I'm writing this. Hhmm..the score is 6-nil in favour of Red Sox..Gabe tells me Boston is leading and I believe him and the announcers.

Lets see...Lennoxville.....

Weather-drizzling, grey, temperature never above 6 degrees. Hannah told us we were about two weeks late for the peak of the fall foliage. Apparently when Cheira was with her, the trees were lovely..now the trees are bare or brown...sigh...we've noticed and everyone has been telling us.

Food-ordinary, not that we were expecting much from the place.

So...what did we do? Hmm...we saw a lot of Hannah. We either took her to Carrefour...thats the small local shopping centre, or to the local Walmart to get her halloween stuff and general shopping, and just hanging around the campus and her haunts. We tended to catch up for lunch or dinner. It was pretty relaxing as we just caught up with Hannah whenever she was free. This tended to be during the day or early evening as she had invites for stuff during the night.

Saturday was when we were supposed to watch the Gaiters (the name of Bishop Uni's football team) play their last home game. Apparently, they've already won their division or something and are third in the state...I think they are supposed to be good!

However as the weather was...rain and cold, we weren't keen on the idea of sitting in the stands gettiing wet as there was no cover. However, were keen on 'tailgating' (drinking with her friends out of the boot of their cars...just for research purposes of course)...lol!

As we have no appreciation for american football and Hannah being the practical sort..
"Nah! We're not standing on the rain for them!"...we just went to the shops. Hannah had it sorted as she partied that night with her friends after having dinner with us. It must have been good as the Gaiters won..and we didn't see Hannah till about 10.30 Sunday morning. She had an early lunch with us at Louis's. She had poutine ( a canadian dish of chips and gravy and cheese curds). This was petty good as the cheese 'squeaked' when you bit into it. Apparently this was a sign that the cheese was fresh. It was a better poutine then the one I had last month.

We dropped her off back at uni for her to go back to sleep ( she vibered me at 3.45am to let me know that she had set her alarm for 10.30am)!!

I drove us to Montreal. Whilst I'm thinking about it, I have a confession to make which will amuse my sister no end. Whilst driving in the US..we've been listening to...wait for it..country music on the radio...sigh.... Yes....country music. It seems to 'fit' with the road....the scenery, the hours in the road and the music isn't too twangy...its not blue grass or that New Orleans funeral stuff or anything extreme. I think at times its more cross over...and I am coping. Thanks for the concern.

Since we crossed the border....country seems to have fallen off the radio waves...we are now putting up with top 40 or 'nostalgia'...I am a bit upset that I recognise a lot of the nostalgia music!!

We arrived in Montreal in good time and in one piece and get ready for the Josh Groban concert. Its at Centre Bell, a 5 minute walk from where we are staying.

Its pretty amazing as on Sunday night they held this concert and on Tuesday night, we watched an ice hockey match in the same place.

Josh Groban was excellent. The tickets were cheap compared to what we would have paid back home. We had great seats for less than $50 each. He was friendly, funny, totally professional and a great entertainer. The acoustics and balance was great, with the music not that loud that it left your ears ringing after the concert. A wonderful evening. Enjoy the second encore with me!

We walk back to the room after 10pm in less than 4 degrees celcius not feeling the cold and feeling pretty warm!
